A downloadable game for Windows

Paper Man is a short dual-character puzzle prototype set inside an artist’s studio.

Players alternate between a first-person Artist and a Paper Person who moves across drawings and other created surfaces. Each character can observe the consequences of the other’s actions, but neither can progress alone.

Core Mechanic

The Paper Person’s body is also the resource used to draw paths. Longer lines create more traversable space, but remove parts of the character and reduce their movement abilities.

Players must balance the immediate benefit of creating a route against the abilities required to finish it.

Features

  • Switch between a first-person Artist and a 2.5D Paper Person
  • Draw traversable paths using the Paper Person’s body resource
  • Experience movement changes as the character loses body parts
  • Move between artwork surfaces positioned throughout a 3D studio
  • Cross connected surfaces and ninety-degree wall transitions
  • Reset failed drawings without reloading the scene
